About Us

Representing some of the most collectable and influential contemporary artists of our time, FIZZ Gallery is independently owned and managed and has established itself as the leading gallery for contemporary art in the South West.

With a passion for art and design, we have have created a beautiful space where all are welcome. You’ll find two floors curated with stunning artwork and supported by a carefully chosen collection of sculpture, ceramics, glass and modern home accessories.

What Makes us Tick

A passion for art and beautiful design runs through the core of everyone here at FIZZ. surrounded by creativity, a hugely talented pool of artists, some incredibly supportive suppliers with whom we have built relationships and friendships, we are in a privileged position to work in a business we truly love.

From the very beginning we absolutely belived, and still do, that beautiful things, including art, should be accessible to everyone.

The art buying journey is a personal one and there is nothing we love more than accompanying a client on that journey.

Whether you are new to buying art or an experienced collector, we are here to share our knowledge, expertise and time to help make your art-buying experience one that is enjoyable and brings you as much pleasure as it does us.

Sandy stood at the entrance to the gallery
Sandy's early career spanned a 20-year period in marketing. After a shock redundancy she took control of her own destiny and started to look for new opportunities. A love of art, a chance meeting and a notice in a shop window sparked an idea - and FIZZ was born in 2005. With a natural eye for selecting artists and artwork, Sandy heads-up the art buying and framing side of FIZZ. Asked what she likes best about her work - "the people. We have met some wonderful people who are now friends".

Rosie the dog sat on a chair
Meet Rosie - Rosie joined us in 2013 from Many Tears rescue in Wales and whilst timid at first, she has now established herself firmly as "The Boss". A dacshund x jack russell she is full of mischief and very much part of gallery life. Now in her fourteenth year she is slowing a down a little but still loves a fuss from customers. And if you bring doggy treats, you're definitely in! We politely ask that if you bring young children to the gallery, they leave Rosie alone and respect her space. She is very gentle but sometimes alarmed by the sudden movements of children.

Fenella stood in the entrance to the gallery
Fenella is a creative through and through. It wasn’t until later in life that she was able to explore her love of interiors and this opened up a whole new world. Her flair for putting together colour, shape, form and texture is plain to see when visiting the gallery, but goes beyond what you see – helping customers to place key pieces of art in their homes is all part of what she does effortlessly. What she likes best about her work - "the moment you see someone connect with a piece of artwork - it is a real privilege to be part of"
